Scottsdale Travel Recap
January 29, 2020
Happy Wednesday Ya’ll! I hope your week is good so far. I traveled to Scottsdale, Arizona to do some work with my mom and visit some friends! For people who don’t know, I grew up in Scottsdale so this is my home away from home. I love it here and it holds so many memories! The weather is so much warmer here than at home so it was nice to bring out my spring outfits. Since it was such a quick trip we tried squeezing everything in so I have been on the go non-stop LOL.
Accommodations
We were staying in the cutest Airbnb that I will show pictures of but my goodness this place is beautiful! There was a gym, pool, and cafe that was so modern and breathtaking (It makes me want to live here lol). My mom and I are such gym freaks so the gym was our favorite part because it had a view of the Scottsdale Quarter which is an outdoor mall.
Activities
Scottsdale Quarter- We went shopping because I barely packed anything and was stressing about outfits so to solve that issue we went shopping! There are so many shops to choose from so I was so overwhelmed but that is what a girl loves!
Restaurants
Sol Mexican- This was a Mexican restaurant in the Scottsdale Quarter we went too the first night with my bestie from here and that was so good! I love those catch up dinners with friends where you can’t stop talking with each other. Anyways, I loved how cute and classy the place was, definitely not the authentic Mexican restaurant even though those are the best too! I forgot to take pictures of it 🙁
The Crumbl Cookies- This place… omg let me tell you it was AMAZING! Talk about a cheat day? If you have one near you, go get some delicious cookies. You will thank me later! What I think is so cool about this place was that they change the 6 cookies up each week so that you are always trying something new instead of seeing the same thing each time you go.
Goldies Sports Cafe- So this place is our all time memory spot. Growing up in Scottsdale this was the place where we went to watch all the games and met all our friends at. They have the best food that you immediately crave when you enter Scottsdale LOL. I met another bestie there and it was so much fun catching up with her since I haven’t seen her in 3 years!
Grimaldi’s Pizzeria- This place is my all time favorite! If you are ever craving pizza and salad, go there! They have great gluten free options for people like me who doesn’t eat gluten. I am not a big fan of Chicago style pizza; I am more of the New York girl more (thin and crispy).
I hope you guys enjoyed this travel guide and please let me know places that you guys travel to so that I can put them on my bucket list! This was such a short busy 2 days so there weren’t too many activities we did but it was so much fun! As always thank you for reading and sharing! Xo
